Your Responsibilities as a Business Developer representative:

  • Research and identify potential customers within relevant industries, reaching out via cold calling, email, LinkedIn, networking events, and Suivo events.
  • Conduct initial conversations with prospects to understand their needs and challenges and determine how Suivo’s IoT and SaaS solutions align with them.
  • Apply consultative selling techniques to identify the most valuable opportunities.
  • Schedule meetings between qualified prospects and your Account Executive colleagues, ensuring a smooth handover to accelerate the sales process.
  • Manage and update the CRM system carefully to keep all lead and prospect data accurate and up to date.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams, providing valuable customer insights to optimize campaigns, content, and product developments.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competition, and developments in IoT, asset, vehicle, and workforce management to strengthen Suivo’s positioning.

Our Ideal Business Developer representative:

  • Holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Has at least some initial experience in B2B sales, business development, or lead generation, preferably in SaaS, technology, or IoT.
  • Communicates fluently and persuasively and easily connects with decision-makers at various levels.
  • Is proactive, results-oriented, and handles objections and rejections positively.
  • Can quickly analyze customer needs and translate them into relevant solutions within Suivo’s offering.
  • Has experience with CRM systems, and familiarity with prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus.
  • Has excellent Dutch and English language skills; knowledge of French is a plus.
  • Has an affinity for technology and stays up to date with trends in IoT, asset, vehicle, and workforce management.
