A Day in the Life of an Accountmanager:
You start the day with an in-depth analysis of a customer portfolio. A major player in the transport sector has shared challenges related to real-time asset tracking. You discuss the details during a video call, present how our SaaS platform addresses their specific needs, and identify new opportunities to optimize their operations. With your expertise and advice, you build customer trust and position yourself as a reliable thought leader.
Later in the morning, you attend an internal meeting with the product management and development teams. Together, you discuss the technical details of an ongoing project to ensure flawless implementation. Your role as a bridge between the customer and internal teams is crucial to keeping everything on track.
In the afternoon, you participate in an event or trade show, making valuable connections and discussing the latest trends in IoT and asset management. You position yourself and the company as key players in the world of Connected Workers and Track & Trace solutions.
The day ends with a review of proposals you will soon present to potential clients. You ensure each proposal is meticulously prepared and strategize how to successfully close deals. A quick email to thank a customer for their trust, and you wrap up the day feeling accomplished and ready to make an impact tomorrow!
Do You Recognize Yourself in This Profile?
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Economics, Industrial Sciences, Business Management, or a similar field.
- At least 5 years of sales experience with medium to large enterprises in a B2B environment, preferably in construction, building & installation, or the IT sector.
- A passion for Sales & IT; knowledge of complex SaaS solutions is a plus.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluent in Dutch and English; professional proficiency in French is a significant advantage.
- Keen interest in market changes and competitor activities.
