Your Responsibilities as a Data Scientist:

• Identify and understand business needs and translate these into concrete data requirements.
• Analyze historical data to identify trends and patterns, with the aim of forecasting future developments.
• Conduct exploratory screenings to assess the potential of new use cases, balancing critical analysis with an opportunistic approach.
• Navigate various data sources and ensure data cleaning as needed.
• Extract relevant information through AI, structuring data for further modeling.
• Design and implement predictive models as a foundation for practical applications, applying statistical knowledge and machine learning methods.
• Communicate clearly with all relevant stakeholders.

Do You Recognize Yourself in This Profile?

• You have a master’s degree in ICT management, information management, or a similar field.
• You have practical experience in domains such as IoT, sensor data, GIS software, or other big data environments.
• You work with frameworks like TensorFlow and are proficient with big data tools such as Hadoop and Spark.
• You have experience with SQL, R, and/or Python and their applications in data science.
• You think in terms of solutions, with an analytical approach that allows you to translate complex issues into solutions.
• You have the necessary communication skills to clearly convey complex solutions, both in Dutch and English.
